Mr. Narvaez′s multifacted practice has given him experience in tribal governmental affairs, administrative law, gaming law, tribal economic development, and litigation. Mr. Narvaez has assisted in drafting tribal codes and ordinances, advising tribal governments on personnel issues, defending and prosecuting suits in state and federal court, and advocating for clients before federal agencies. In law school, Mr. Narvaez served as a student attorney in the Native American Law Clinic at the University of Colorado Law School. In that role, he worked extensively with the Indian Child Welfare Act. He advocated for clients and ensured state courts and agencies adhered to the federally-mandated requirements of ICWA.
