It is Peebles Kidder's distinct pleasure to announce that Patricia Marks, partner in our DC office, has received the Lifetime Achievement in Indian Law award presented by the Native American Bar Association of DC.
Patty is a staple of DC Indian Law practice. Coming up through Indian Affairs on the Hill after graduating from Georgetown Law School, Patty has established herself with the Firm's clients as an invaluable source of knowledge on tribal appropriations, land into trust, and 638 contracting, just to name a few specialty areas of her practice. The information acquired over her career spanning more than thirty years of Federal Indian Law in DC sets her apart. The Lifetime Achievement in Indian Law is a well-deserved honor. Congratulations Patty!
