Peebles Kidder Bergin & Robinson LLP is proud to announce that Michael A. Robinson will serve as the Firm’s next Managing Partner and General Counsel. Robinson was unanimously elected by the Firm’s Equity Partners in November. His term will begin on January 1, 2022.

Robinson succeeds Patrick R. Bergin. “Michael will continue to elevate our future as the leading Indian law firm in the United States,” said Bergin. “These are exciting times and I have no doubt that Michael will capably lead our law firm into its next generation.”
Robinson, who joined the firm in 2003, became a partner in 2007 and became a firm owner in 2019, has more than twenty years of successfully advising clients in many areas of the law. In particular, Robinson has a strong background in litigation and in Indian, gaming, natural resources, administrative and environmental law.
Michael is originally from Michigan and attended University of New Mexico School of Law. He served as Editor of the school’s Natural Resources Journal and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1999. He has been based in Sacramento, California since 2003.
Prior to his new role, Robinson has served as Chair of the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. As Managing Partner, he will now serve and support 28 attorneys and staff in five locations across the United States.
