Seth Pearman is a partner of the firm, and has a reputation for aggressive legal representation, and zealous advocacy for Tribes and their business interests. Mr. Pearman is a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, and grew up on the shores of the Missouri River on his Tribe's Reservation. He has an extensive background in Agriculture, and spent his early live farming and ranching on multi-generational family operations.

Mr. Pearman served as the Attorney General for the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe for over 12 years, and created and advised countless businesses and projects that contributed to, and sustained, the tribal economy. Mr. Pearman believes that the advancement of Indian Country depends wholly on the Tribes' ability to be self-sustaining, and he has dedicated his career to advancing the economic interests of Tribes and tribal citizens. However, Mr. Pearman is not afraid to step into the courtroom if necessary, and has litigated matters in tribal, state, and federal courts.

Mr. Pearman is a leading cannabis attorney in the United States and couples his industry expertise and his knowledge of tribal law to create successful cannabis operations in Indian Country. Mr. Pearman was pivotal in the development of Native Nations Cannabis, a multi-jurisdictional, vertically integrated cannabis operation owned by the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. He has successfully advocated for the cannabis industry in the South Dakota Legislature, in Congress, and with foreign governments, and provides a realistic perspective to clients seeking to develop cannabis operations.

Mr. Pearman has spoken extensively across the United States at various tribal and non-tribal associations regarding the topics of taxation, economic development, tribal lending, cannabis, jurisdiction, and finance, including the Great Plains Tribal Chairman's Association, Native American Finance Officers' Association (NAFOA), the Indian Gaming Association, Native Nations Events, the National Intertribal Tax Alliance (NITA), Online Lending Association (OLA), the Conference of Tirbal Lending Commissioner, the South Dakota Bar Association, the Washington D.C.
